Thank you so much for all your prayers! My case worker at Christian World Adoption called this morning at 6:30 to let us know that the courts approved us last night and we are officially the parents of two beautiful children--Isaiah (Medihanitu) Peyton and Makeda (Mebrate) Peyton! We are thrilled beyond belief and feel so blessed! We should receive our travel date either today or tomorrow.
The children will be transferred to the new Care Center in Addis Ababa sometime next week. Please pray for them during this transition time as they will be separated into the "girls' home" and the "boys' home". They have never had to be apart from each other. Sometimes children pick up illnesses after they are transferred, too. Please pray that they would remail healthy until we go get them--hopefully the 1st week of June.
I'll write more later--got to get Jacob to school!

ReplyDeleteYour babies are BEAUTIFUL! Rayne and I prayed last night when we were awake together :) I can hardly wait to meet your children! We will be praying for them now as they have to be separated. Let us know when you get your travel date!
